Types of psychotherapy/counseling appointments

I provide (inter)national online counselling for young people in and outside the Netherlands. Face-to-face / in-person counselling is held in Rheden, Arnhem and Nijmegen, ideal for those living in the Gelderland area. Appointments last around 50 minutes and cost 65.00EUROS per session. Contact Me to arrange your free Discovery/consultation call so that I can explain how I work and answer any questions that you may have. 

Online Appointments 

I provide online psychotherapy and counselling using Google Meet and can use other methods if you prefer (e.g. WhatsApp video if it is encrypted and HIPPA compliant for therapy).

Face-to-Face (in a park or in a counselling center/studio)

I provide psychotherapy and counselling from a dedicated therapy space in a park in Rheden, Arnhem and Nijmegen (located in the East of the Netherlands) and in a counselling centre in Rheden centre. This provides assured privacy in comfortable, peaceful surroundings. Both places are well served by public transport and road links too. 

Arranging and paying for appointments

Arranging an appointment

To schedule therapy session, you'll need to have a free telephone 'Discovery' call for about 25 minutes, to explain your issues, for me to discuss my approach to counselling/psychotherapy for children/young adults, and for us to see if I am the right counsellor/psychotherapist for your need(s). 

If we agree, I will then arrange a mutually convenient time to schedule a mandatory Art Therapy Assessment (non-refundable), followed by your first full appointment. This will become the same regular day and time every week to build in structure and obtain the maximum impact from the psychotherapy/ counselling.

A copy of the full Terms, sometimes called the 'Therapeutic Contract' will be sent out to you before your first appointment. Once signed by both parties, it is binding. 

Payment

  • After each session you must pay for the session within 14 days; late payments incur 30 Euros/day. 
  • Payments are made either through Bank Transfer, Stripe or cash. 
  • The standard appointment fee is 65.00EUROS (prices may increase due to inflation). Some reduced-cost appointments are possible but these are on a case-by-case-basis, usually for unemployed people and students – please contact me for information. 

 

Cancellations

Please note that there is a strict, 48-hour notice cancellation policy. In other words, a full charge will apply if you miss an appointment and have not given at least 48 hours notice for absence, regardless of the reason. I am unable to routinely send appointment reminders or receipts for payment. Therefore, I encourage people to set an appointment reminder in their calendar!

 

Fees

  • Obligatory Art Therapy Assessment: 185 Euros
  • Individual Therapy (one-to-one): 65 Euros/ Session*  
  • Parent-Child Dyad: 75 Euros/Session
  • Group Therapy (maximum 5 people): 40 Euros/Person/Session; for larger groups kindly inquire with me. 

*If you're facing financial challenges, please let me know, a sliding scale is available for families, students, and working young adults.
